Jewellery Care

Keep your pieces looking fresh with a few easy rules — no specialist tools needed.

The 5 Golden Rules

  • Last on, first off. Apply perfume/cream first; remove jewellery before bed.
  • Keep it dry. Take off for shower, swim, workouts, sauna.
  • Be gentle. Avoid knocks, pulls, and tossing in bags.
  • No chemicals. Perfume, sunscreen, hand gel, and cleaners can dull finishes.
  • Store soft & separate. Use a pouch/box to prevent scratches and tangles.

If your piece has…

  • Silver (925)
Wipe with a soft cloth after wear. If it darkens, polish lightly with a silver cloth and store in a small zip bag.
  • Gold-plated finish
Friction shortens plating life — remove for sport/sleep. Clean with a damp soft cloth (no abrasives). Normal wear may show over time.
  • Natural stones
Treat like glass — avoid knocks and harsh cleaners. Wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry well.
  • Pearls
Delicate: keep away from perfumes and sprays. Wipe gently after wear and store in a pouch (not airtight).

Quick Clean (all pieces)

  1. Wipe with a soft, dry cloth.
  2. If needed, use lukewarm water + a tiny drop of mild soap, then dry completely.
  3. Never use ultrasonic, steam, or strong chemicals.

Bent silver post/wire?

Support at the base. Gently nudge straight by hand — tiny moves only. No tools. Stop if it looks cracked.
